Lifestyle Portrait shoots: What Are They?
These solo shoots are a fantastic way to create content about you or your business. My previous clients include; musicians developing an album cover, online creatives making content for their social media, writers needing cover photos for their blog posts, and singletons looking to update their dating profiles.
Before your shoot we will have a video call to have a chat about how the day works and my style of shooting; this includes you picking an outdoor location of choice, or choosing your favourite from some of my recommendations. We will go out for a walk together and stop along some of the more scenic backdrops to create some images of you looking at your best.
LIFESTYLE PORTRAIT SHOOTS: How Do i pose properly?
"Aaaah I don't know how to pose, or what to do in front of a camera?!". If this sounds like you, don't worry, you're not the only one who feels like this. Literally every client I've shot who isn't a professional model feels the same. My style of photography has a relaxed and authentic nature, and I'll give you some guidance and tips to help that reflect in your photos. I won't be telling you exactly how to position your chin, or where to tilt your head, but I will give you some guidance on where to stand and look to make you feel comfortable and relaxed on our shoot.
LIFESTYLE PORTRAIT SHOOTS: What do i wear?
This is completely down to you and the aesthetic you are looking for. The only recommendation I make is to dress for the terrain, and wear appropriate footwear. Other than that, feel free to bring a change of clothes if you're after some variety in the images we take.
LIFESTYLE PORTRAIT SHOOTS: What do you charge?
My rates start at just £300 for your first two hours, and £100 for any subsequent following hour. I'm more than happy for you to book me for the full day for this, however realistically I have found that 2 hours is just about right to get you plenty of content.
